Over at JJB, someone managed to dig up some video footage of the Barack Obama rally in Chicago last night, in Grant Park. A reporter was interviewing celebrities and regular people alike before the news broke that Obama had won. Last night we heard news that Brad Pitt was also at Grant Park to watch and celebrate.
Just past the 2-minute mark, you can see Brad and hear a little bit of audio saying that he will be very happy. It’s brief, but he’s there.
I’m so glad that despite his enormous celebrity status Brad was able to just be an American citizen last night, enjoying his candidate’s win like any other regular American could. Good for him!
Don’t forget to stay tuned for Brad’s appearance on Oprah sometime later this month. The official show date has not yet been released, though I’ve heard rumors that his segment will be taped sometime very soon. You can see the promo for Oprah’s November guests and shows here.
I don’t usually watch Oprah anymore just because it doesn’t come on at a convenient time for me, but I’ll definitely make time for that episode!
I think taping interview is today, someone posted that cate B. came also and I can not stand those people who say that they have broken up!

Seems like they cramed all they could into while they were in the us…………trick or treating, the clint eastwood award, the election. Good for them. I admire how they keep moving. I really just admire them.
mymichelle - Same here! I wish I could have just half the energy those two seem to have. Sometimes I get tired just reading about all the things and the traveling they do in short periods of time!
Brad appearing on Oprah’s show goes to prove that all have moved on with their lives. Oprah was very tight with Brad and Jen and when they split it appeared that Oprah was siding with Jen. But then again maybe that also was one of the made up stories by the paps. I wonder when the Jolie-Pitts are returning to Germany? I am sure that they enjoyed their time here in the USA

i read JJB that Brad is going to taoe the show in afternoon and that Oprah pretaped something with Angie as a suprise, the source is Lainey.com.
He is taping it today. I sent a question to Oprah’s website and they picked me. They sent a laptop, mic, webcam and all of that so I could ask him my question. Way excited about the whole thing, and a little nervous too.

I though Oprah is going to ban both Brad and Ange because Oprah is very close to Jen Aniston? Why the change of heart? I am confused.

Hi everyone, it was a trip and I hope I didn’t make an ass of myself. My question was how many tattoos does he have and could he tell me some of history behind them. He wouldn’t answer and said it was private between him and Angie. He talked a lot about the kids, and told some real funny stories too. He looked fantastic the hair, the suit, the mustache, and no hat. He just beamed and Oprah was exhausted from last night but did well. The show will be on the 18th.
Oprah and Brad seemed pretty comfortable with eachother he came out first then introduced Cate. Nothing came up about the EX at all. He looked like he was having a great time. She didn’t seem all that prepared with questions and I guess that is why they went with 6 people to ask questions. I was up at 9 am CA time to test the equipment they sent me, and then the show started around 11 again CA time. So it would have been 1 in Chicago. Oprah said the show would air on the 18th.

Hope we will get to see the Oprah show on Youtube. Hearing Brad talking about Angie and the kids would be fantastic. I am glad Oprah has “normalised” it with Brad… hopefully with Angie too so she can appear on her show in the near future. I believe Angie also hasn’t appeared in the Ellen show for quite sometime since Ellen is Jen’s friend. Hope things will change soon!
Ellen is Jen’s friend? I never knew that. I’ve never seen them together; nor Jen on her show. Then again, I don’t watch Ellen.

Oh please! Ellen loves also Brad&Angelina. Last year, Ellen supported Brad’s Make it Right project in her programs. Also, she said very nice things for their children. This is showbiz. So, I don’t believe Ellen is so stupid to take sides. But Brad&Angie can’t go every programs. Studio or their publicits make their Tv arrengements.

I’ve read reports that Angelina was with Brad in Grant Park. A WGN reporter was interviewing Jesse Jackson when Angie & Brad walked behind Jesse. The reporter’s colleagues at the station were teasing him saying that he should be fired for not getting an interview with Brad and Angie. Hubby was watching tv and thought he saw Angelina for a hot second. Meantime, as usual National ledger is trying to make a big deal out of nothing saying Brad and X were celebrating Obama (in 2 different places), but where was Angelina?

off topic: do you see the new cover of STar? it’s reallu ridiculous; they say that jen’is expecting twins!!! they have to stop with it! it looks like they take an old cover with angie’s pregnacy rumors and put a pic of jen in place of angie’s one!!! tabloid are realy cRea.ZY!!!

It was good to see that both Brad and Angie were celebrating in Grant Park. She is hardly recognizable on the video but still she´s there on the background. I read somewhere that Brad had spoken quite lovingly of Angie on Oprah saying:”Angie is the love of my life.” and he sure meant every word of that. She made his dream of family come true and it´s easy to see that those two are much more better suited together than he and Jennifer Aniston ever were (sorry JA fans!). And she also loves him very much. So we´ll be reading about this beautiful couple for a long time after Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have broken up and gotten back together about dozen times during the next couple of years.

First I want to thanks CHRISLIZ for sharing with us with the interview and I think we can be happy that they live their lives the way that they decided to. I think that they are going soon to Germany and then they will shortly return to LA for TCCOBB premiere on december 8.I also think that they plan everything in advanced and somehow they are slowly escaping the paparazze and retractnig to be more private which Angie mentioned in an interview that as children get older they will try to go away off public lives. Brad said that they are spending holydays in one kids countries and probably Ethiopia.
Brad does not have to remind everybody of his love for Angie, it is written all over his face.
I can not stand those haters on JJ and I have finally decided to just look for new photos or articles there and ignore them.
We can also be happy about their film succeses, i saw on boxofficemojo that BAR is over 115 million now and Changeling is moved on third place with 12 million. Let enjoy and be happy for them because they are doing grat on all fronts and look forward to see a glimpse now and then!!! THANK YOU!!
Rita, thanks for the info. I read it and I doubt very much that Brad suffers from ADD. I think that everyone except Cate was uncomfortable at first. Oprah did choose up sides and said some things that possibly she has since had second thoughts about. And Brad I would think would have heard about those remarks and would feel protective towards Angelina. But this goes to prove that all have moved on after four years and it would be great if the paps and gossip magazines would give it a rest. I am glad that Brad is going through the: Oh my goodness I can’t believe my child said or did that stage. Kids are so funny but they also can be so embrassing. Well I hope that Oprah will have Angie on her show in the future.
Melodie I saw that rumor yesterday also and laughed to myself. I think it would be wonderful if Jen does have a baby. But I am not crazy about John Meyer, he seems to be a very selfish person and I don’t think he would maintain a long term relationship. Another thing I find so strange is all the couples that have had or will have twins.

I said it before that I will not watch Oprah even if Brad is her guest, since Christliz & Rita said the pre-taped are mostly questions about Brad & his family, I may watch it. They have Oprah Show on tv here on Post overseas.I hope, they will show the current ones.

I don’t understand this hatred toward Oprah. She has said on the show that she barely knows him ,besides his visits on the show.She said she had only socialized with him once before her 50th Bday party. Why shouldn’t she side with Jen if they were friends. Aren’t there couples you know where your friends with one and barely know the other one. I have watched virtually every Oprah show for the last 10 years and she has never said anything negative about Angelina or Brad. She has praised their adopting kids in USA weekend . Just 2 weeks ago she mentioned them on a show on service workers when she asked a guy if a powerful person(s) life Brad and Angie came in without reservations would he give them the best table.
Don’t believe the tabs about her “banning” them from her show. Her friend Gayle debunked that on her radio show and Gail is always praising them she praised the W magazine cover gushed over People photos and talked how much she admired them after the Today show interview.
Looking forward to Oprah’s show. I’m glad O & BP are mending their relationship and allowing the past be the past.
I have looked on a few sites, and the “love of my life” quote is suspect. I don’t know. Everyone has a different spin on the interview. Some say it was good, other not so…Some say tense.. others say relaxed. I will have to watch and see. Angie is much more compelling then Brad. He does so much better with George Clooney. But get ready for the negative. It is fast approaching.
I had hoped he would speak more about her. But then again he spoke about Jen and it ended. So he is not the big talker. I still can’t wait to see him. I think Ellen would have been better. Will Smith was on today. He was really funny. One or more of his kids were there. I know that we well never hear a word about him using his kids to promote his movie.. Although he did talk about them a great deal. Double Standard Alert.

But those girls are liars so don’t believe their post, other than the parts that correspond with ChrisLiz’s description.
Last year they started the “split” rumours because they were stalking B&A in Chicago and didn’t see them together. Only pics of her at work and pics of Brad going to Jury duty.
Later on they called Brad a liar when he said he and his family were happy to be back in NOLA.
The reason they gave was that they had not seen Angie so it meant she and the kids weren’t there.
These “rationals” lead to them insisting that B&A had split and Brad was lying.
Fan from Vietnam, ADD stands for Attention deficit disorder. I am sure you will look it up and see what it means and realize that Brad does not have ADD. Brad I am sure felt a little uncomfortable in the being of the interview, but at the end I am sure both he and Oprah were more at ease. How often (me alot)do we put our foot in our mouth, say something and then later on have to take it back out. Hope things in Vietnam are better now and that not to many lives were lost. The weather through out the world has been very strange. It appears that we all most cope with all the strange and scary things that are happening. I pray everyday it all gets better.

Mary Ann, the situation in the north of VN is better now though 70 lives have been lost and many people had their cars under water. The flood is still there in some areas and so it makes it very hard for many people. There are concerns that epidemic diseases may break out after the flooding. Hope the weather will not be too harsh in the next few days.
