Video footage of Brad Pitt on the Benjamin Button red carpet

I love looking at photos of Brad Pitt on the red carpet, but even more than that, I love to watch video footage as well. Since I can’t be on the red carpet with everyone, this is pretty much the next best thing.
I particularly loved when Tilda Swinton was talking about the reasons The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a great movie, and then she added, “and then you’ve got Brad Pitt, how could you go wrong?” True, very true!
I have to add that I really like Cate Blanchett’s dress. While it’s not my particular style, I love how it glitters in the light, something that isn’t as visible in still photos.
I also enjoyed listening to Brad talking about Make It Right near the end, it’s so plain to see how much joy he has over the work that has been done in New Orleans so far.

I think that they looked so happy and classic and Angie is really there for him! The Critic Choice awards are out and Brad and Angie both got the nominations for best actor and actress and their movies , also got a lot nominations especially TCCOBB,so another red carpet to look for on january 8.

It is a real pleasure to see Brad and Angie, but it was really great to see his mom and dad there. I have never seen them like this before. And to see the look on their faces. They just glowed with joy.

i’ve heard about the CCA. i’m so glad that both of them got nominated for major categories. TCCOBB has 8 nominations. that is truly amazing. it only proves that this movie is a must see.
People online magazine has an article about the RC night. I noticed this part:
“And the actress [Angie] certainly played dutiful host, declining to chat with some reporters saying, “I have to stay with them [Brad's parents].”
How can there be any tension between them? If there was, Angie would have tried to find all excuses to talk to the press to avoid being alone with Brad’s parents.

What Jane says is so sweet!
Angie is never known to be so particular with fashion, to a point of dressing up for the sake of outshining other celebrities or with the intention of impressing people. I think she chooses her clothes more on COMFORT than style, although it also matters to her to look good as part of her being a celebrity. However, her personality is different. from the rest. She rather not wear something she doesn’t like even though how beautiful the dress is to others if she’s not at ease with it. Comfort over style is her priority. When she’s comfortable, her confidence shows it.
Actually, i really like her sense of style and fashion. Very simple but elegant. Polished looking. She may not be known as risk-taker as to fashion but she handles every dress very well every time. She rarely deviates from her classic style because she knows that’s what works for her. As the saying goes, “IF IT AIN’T BROKE, WHY FIX IT.”
She’s a “minimalist” type of a person. She is a believer of “Less is More”. She sees to it that her accessories and make-up will not make her look like a Christmas Tree. She makes sure her outfit enhances her genetically-blessed features and not outshine them. That’s classy and sophisticated.
Actually Angie’s dress is a Versace which is always her favorite. Of course, people like Lainey is very biased. She adores anything about Gwen and Cate and their clothes. She only writes about Angie regaring “Pitt porn.” She even criticizes Angie’s recent “waxy” face she writes. Needless to say, Versace is more of a well known designer esp. when he was alive. And the rc is not all about fashion, it is about the film, the director, etc.

Every day is ‘an adventure’ for Pitt
Brad Pitt’s priorities have changed, in more ways than one.
“I have this fantasy of my older days, painting or sculpting or making things,” the actor tells Rolling Stone’s next issue, out Friday. “But right now, it’s about getting the work done and getting home to family. I have an adventure every morning getting up.”
Pitt, 44, has six children with partner Angelina Jolie.
His fantasy drama, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, opens Dec. 25. Making the film made Pitt think about his own mortality.
“Angie and I do not fight anymore,” he tells RS. “What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of her mother (actress Marcheline Bertrand in 2007), is that there’s going to come a time when I’m not going to get to be with this person anymore. I’m not going to get to be with my children anymore. … And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now.”
He adds, “I don’t want to waste time being angry at someone I love.” And he is defensive about Jolie. When asked about a recent New York Times story critical about her relationship with the press, he responds, “It sounded to me like the story made Angie out to be manipulative in some way. … She is savvy. But one of the things I’m most proud of is that not only did these guys who follow us and make our lives miserable and get in my kids’ faces, not only did they not get the money, but it went to people who really need it.” People and Hello! magazines paid millions to charity for exclusive photos of the Jolie-Pitts after the twins’ births.
When it came to the birth of our children, a huge bounty was placed on their heads. And people were going to go to incredible lengths to get it.” And so he credits Jolie’s method of handling publicity about the family.
It comes as no surprise, then, that his favorite Jolie film is 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, in which he co-starred. Why? “Because you know … six kids. Because I fell in love.”
Hello people, the new interview with Brad on the cover of The Rollingstones mag. has just come out and will be on the stands tomorrow.
There are parts where he says that he and Angie do not fight anymore especially after seeing her mother dies and working on TCCOBB he does not want to be angry with person he loves and he says that his favorite movie of Angie is Mr. and Mrs.Smith because he fell in love. Please if someone finds the whole article can you post it?
there was a video where Jane Pitt was showing her bracelet with her grandkids names which was a present from B&A and she said that it was her most prized possession. i’m not quite sure if the link still works but here is it:

Nadia- I have seen what neer posted of the article. After reading that Brad said his favorite of Angie’s movies is Mr. and Mrs. Smith because he fell in love, I am very curious to see if he gets blasted for that comment the way Angie got blasted for her recent comment about being excited for the kids to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith and get to see the film will their parents fell in love (never mind that Angie was referring to their CHARACTERS falling in love in the movie, not to her and Brad’s personal life/relationship!).
It seems like Angie and JA (but particularly Angie), get blasted (albeit in different ways) about the whole “triangle” business while Brad gets a free pass. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues with this new interview of Brad’s.
melodie- So Star’s STILL at it with their pregnancy claims? Honestly, they need to give it a rest already, and take some reality check pills while they’re at it. If they did, they’d realize how silly their claim really is, for these reasons:
1. If Angie were pregnant enough to be showing, even with twins (assuming one of things they are citing is a bump, which is almost always the case), she’d have to have gotten pregnant right around the time Knox and Viv hit the one month mark. I just don’t think Angie would be that irresponsible, especially given the fact that she had a C-section. Also, her being pregnant enough to be showing would mean she and Brad didn’t follow the “six-week rule” (and I imagine the rule is extended for moms who have just given birth to twins, especially twins delivered via C-section), if you know what I mean!
2. Angie has made it pretty clear that they will be adopting next, and that they won’t be adding to their family for awhile yet (granted, accidents can happen, but I still don’t think she’d be irresponsible enough to get pregnant so soon after giving birth).
3. Angie doesn’t look even remotely pregnant! She looks fanatastic for someone who gave birth to twins just five months ago!
Anyway, if the J-Ps do go to Ethiopia for Christmas, how much do you want to bet that the tabs will switch from pregnancy rumors to adoption rumors?
angefan-thanks for the link to the nterview. It was wonderful to see how warmly Jane Pitt talks about her son and Angie. This proves one thing:she and Angie have a very warm relationship. There is no tension between them. When Jane said that there is the name of every one of their grandchildren did she mean that there are also Doug and Julie´s children´s names on that bracelet? If that´s the case it is truly the most prized possession she has. That gift also proves all the haters that Angie LOVES Jane. Angie and Brad sure both were honored that the senior Pitts attended the premiere. This event gave Bill and Jane also a chance to meet their adorable grandchildren. Wherever this family will be spending Christmas it´ll be very special for them. After all it´ll be the twins´ first one. God bless the JP clan!
joliepittfanatic – Hilarious isn’t it? If you look at the photos of her at the Grand Torino red carpet, there’s no way she can be called pregnant. If she is, it would have had to have happened in the last few days because she’s wearing very slim-fitting pants and if she truly had a noticeable baby bump, she would not be able to wear those.
angefan-thanks for thew link to the video. It was great to see Jane speaking so warmly of her son and almost daughter-in-law. If that´s the case it truly is the most prized possession she has. BTW. It´s great to see that both Brad and Angie are nominated for Golden Globes. Hopefully they both win. And if not so what? They already have six pretty precious awards at home:their adorable, healthy children. They sure are much more important to their parents than any movie award! God bless this beautiful family!
Okay, I just saw the latest issue of Star at the grocery store today…and all I can say is they seriously need to take some realitly check pills! Not only are they claiming Angie is pregnant again with twins, but they are claiming that she used fertilty treatments to concieve them (never mind the fact that Angie and Brad concieved Shiloh on the first try, and the fact that Angie said in Knox and Viv’s photo debut in PEOPLE that she and Brad have been “fortunate enough never to have had fertility problems”!)!
In addition to the reasons their claim is so silly that I mentioned above, I don’t know what woman in her right mind would undergo fertility treatments less than five months after giving birth to twins (Knox and Viv turned 5 months old on Friday, but, going by the crazy rumors the tabs have spread in the past, I’m guessing that they’re insinuating that she’s been pregnant for at least a few weeks), or any doctor that would perform fertility treatments on a woman who had twins less than five months ago (especially a woman who gave birth via C-section, as was the case with Angie)!
Even though Sherry’s not doing the “Saturday’s Silly Tabloid Cover” feature anymore (which, BTW, is fine with me!), I think this week’s issue of Star takes the cake as far as silly tabloid covers are concerned (all though National Enquirer’s “It’s NOT Brad’s Baby!” cover was a classic as well!)!
All of that said, I also noticed that latest issue of Out of Touch, and their cover claims that Angie and Brad are having a girl. I do have to give them credit for keeping people (well, at least people who actually believe and trust tabs, that is!) in suspense by not stating on the cover whether or not Angie is “pregnant” with this baby girl or if they are “adopting” the girl.
They also claim that an “exhausted” Brad has finally admitted that having so many kids is “wearing me out!”. Uh, news flash, Out of Touch, I think pretty much ANY parent of that many kids gets worn out at times! I fail to see how Brad’s being worn out by raising six kids is news!
Out of Touch is ALSO claiming that Angie and Brad are getting married (this must be their 10 billionth wedding by now!). Why can’t the tabs just accept that Brad and Angie may never get married (I personally believe they will get married eventually, and before anyone asks, I think the rings they both wear are basically a symbol of the fact that they are very commited WITHOUT the legal papers!)?
