Video surrounding Brad Pitt’s motorcycle accident

Following Brad Pitt’s motorcycle accident that occurred yesterday, some video footage has popped up online – not of the accident itself but before and after. This video shows Brad driving down the street, then shows his bike on the side of the road with a car very close to the back of it:

After the accident, Brad headed into an apartment building (one which luckily had security that kept the paparazzi out), presumably to call someone to come pick him up and to retrieve the motorcycle. I think it’s fairly obvious why Brad asked someone for assistance since it didn’t go over very well when he asked the paparazzi for help last time he had motorcycle trouble.

What blows my mind is that they still tried to chase him in and would have gone right into the complex if the door person hadn’t stopped them.

The following video from X17 shows the people coming to pick up Brad’s motorcycle for him. Apparently the motorcycle had some minor damage, you can see the camera zoom in on it. I’m certainly no expert – I only ever rode around on the back of motorcycles, I never knew the particulars – but it looks like it’s more cosmetic than anything else. Anyone know more about that sort of thing?

Meanwhile, they also show the blue car that apparently helped cause the accident. While earlier reports stated that a car hit the back of the bike, in this video it seems more that the pap’s car actually cut Brad off completely. You can see damage on the corner of the bumper as well as some scraping and a dent on the side.

Looking at that, it’s very lucky that Brad was not seriously injured because it easily could have been worse than it was. They must not have been going very fast, so at least there’s that.

I hope that Brad is at home, enjoying a little rest and relaxation today because that was more excitement than anyone needs – including all of us as fans!
