Vote at People.com – What do you think of Angelina Jolie’s dress?

I got an email this morning from the StyleWatch folks at People.com asking me if I could spread the word here at PittWatch because they have a special poll up about the slit on Angelina Jolie’s dress at Cannes. Since I love People, how could I resist?
They’re wondering if we think the slit in Angie’s dress is super sexy or if it’s a little too high. Please go vote in their poll. When I voted (choosing “sexy” of course!), it was pretty close with 58% calling it sexy and 42% saying it was too high.
After you’ve voted I’d love to hear your opinion here in the comments as well – did you love the daring slit up her thigh or did you think it was too over-the-top?

On Jay Leno tonight he talked about Ann Curry touching Brad’s face. He said you’re not suppose to do that. He showed a parody of Ann touching Brad’s face, after she touched his two body guards grabbed her and threw her over the balcony with Brad looking on. It was so funny!!!! Of course it was not real but really funny!

Okay, I just read an article on PEOPLE.com about Angie and Brad at the after-party…and I think we can now safely say that any “bump” on Angie in these pictures is probably the result of having had twins ten months ago, the cut of the dress, the angle of some of the pictures, or a combination of the three rather than a pregnancy.
Why? Well, here’s an excerpt from that article: “The duo made a low-key entrance at the after party for Pitt’s film Inglourious Basterds at Baoli Beach, where they both sipped drinks (a Baileys for him, vodka for her”).” I highly doubt that Angie would be drinking vodka if she were pregnant!

I think that the dress was just beautiful. It suited her slender figure absolutely nicely. Off the topic. After watching these wonderful pics I had a really wild idea. I think that Knox and Viv are gonna look exactly like their parents. I think that Knox is gonna be a spitting image of his handsome dad and Viv will be a spitting image of her beautiful mum. Am I the only one who thinks this way? God bless the JPs!

In that video Brad and Angie look as if they are a teenager couple. Very cute.
They are cheerfully mingling with Inglorious Basterd casts.
At the end of the video Angie is talking with Kate Winslett’s agent, Hylda.
On the left side I saw Robin Wright Penn is sitting next to bald head Bryan Lourd who is Brad and Sean Penn’s agent.
VA-VA Nude! She looks like she’s wrapped in Gossamer…so simple and basic, and so NOT simple and basic. I love it! Perfect.
I voted sexy. After all, the dress suits her! so perfect and lovely!
Wow! I went to popeaters.com and there was about a gazillion pictures in there of them. Just want to share a few observations that I had with you guys and to find out what you think.:
a) that the women of IB, Diane and Melanie did not really talk to each other (not actually since I saw a pic of Angie greeting Diane) By the way, I saw some pics of these women standing almost next to each other and they re all beautiful but Angie was defnitely the most exotic (biased.)
b)I think angie knew that having this nude color will make her more of a back drop than the main feature item since she did not want to steal the limelight from the cast (but she did anyway)
c) its wonderful that reporters are actually calling them “husband” and “wife” now as they describe them..”Brad is collecting his wife” as quoted in the Cannes website clip.
d) how sweet of Brad to actually go back and get Angie to go thru the red carpet. I mean aren’t some of the others married and where are their partners?
e) you can see how tired but happy they are (that’s what flying,filming and six kids will do to you and I almost forgot the humanitarian work.)
f) Looking at the pics and videos, it’s really interesting how Angie turns into this sweet,innocent little girl as Brad escorts her through the crowd. All the at the same time exuding womaness and so demure.
g) looking at all the publicity, most of it positive. It’s comforting to know that Angie knows people do love or hate her but she focuses more on the ones who do love her and ignores the latter.
h)they are both getting older and more mature (especially Brad with his whites coming out) and the funny thing is they could care less if they were less perfect – but they are perfect to each other
i) some photos of them were flattering and some weren’t. Is is the subject, the camera or the photographer who got or did not get he right angle here?
j) Did you guys see that pic where she was sitting on his lap and his hand on her back while she was talking to Eli Roth? Or that one where she fixes his bow tie then holds him close and rests her head on his shoulder? It was really endearing.
Sorry for the long post but just want to wish this beautiful couple the very best and may their love last forever.

All the haters think that this is all an act. If it so, they are really great actors since they are very convincing.
I absolutely love every inch of the thigh-slit. Her perfectly toned legs are stunning!
I love that she wore an almost nude gown and contrasted with such a bold lipstick!!! She usually wears neutral lip shade, but the red this time is the perfect accessory.
She is a very complex woman: delicate yet courageous. She’s perfect.

Well, I”ve been “under moderation” since yesterday but all I said was I thought Angie looked amazing in that dress and Brad didn’t look too bad either.

angelina’s dress was perfect, she looked so beautiful, Brad can’t take his eyes off her! They’re googooizzing each other sooo cute….
Her skin just melts into that dress…like they were made for each other…beautiful nude color. The lipstick was a bit too dramatic for the pale color of dress, maybe she should of worn a coral lipstick instead of red.

Brangelina4Ever- I completely agree with you! At the same time, however, I can actually see why at least some of the h8ters are thinking that (some of them, I’m sure, are thinking that simply because they h8te Angie and Brad and don’t want to see them make it).
Why, you ask? Well, because Brad and JA appeared on at least one RC together just before they seperated (as in, just a few months before if even that), looking happy.
That said, however, from what I’ve seen of those pictures, they’re different from these. For one thing, I haven’t see any in which Brad and JA are actually (and I apologize for getting a bit crude here!) getting their hands all over each other. In otherwords, I don’t think there was any physical contact. I could be wrong, though.

Angie’s dress is beautiful without being so bold, it brings out her sexiness & her being as a fashion model before carry herself so elegant & beautiful, everything about her is perfect & with Brad beside her, it is more exciting to see.

Brad Pitt kills off rumours of rift with Angelina Jolie by declaring his love

Their passion is supposedly in the Pitts, yet we have it on the very best authority – Brad himself – that he and Angelina are more loved-up than ever.
The Hollywood hunk led us by the hand into the VVVIP area of his premiere after-party in Cannes and opened his heart about 33-year-old Angelina. He even admitted that, far from splitting up, they plan to extend their brood.
Brad, 45, told us: “I am in love and I have the most beautiful family – what else can a guy want? I am the happiest man ever.
“My daughter from Africa is beautiful. We’re so lucky to have her and to have children from around the world.
“They’re all fantastic and we would love another. Who knows, maybe we’ll have one in London, I’d like that.”
Swoon! Well, it’s not every day that you have Brad Pitt whispering sweet nothings into your ear – even if they are about his girlfriend.
US reports claimed Brangelina are heading for a bust-up, but no one seemed to have told them. On the red carpet on Wednesday for Brad’s latest film – director Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds – Hollywood’s top A-list couple were more touchy-feely than ever.
At one point, Brad started snogging Angelina in front of celebs including Quentin, David Furnish, and footballer Steven Gerrard. During their marathon kiss, Angelina tenderly ruffled his hair. Ahh!
When Brad eventually came up for air – and we were waiting quite some time – he then parked himself next to us to continue our chat.
He said: “We’re having a great time tonight, it’s been a whirlwind trip. I love hanging out with my friends. Quentin just gets so excited and passionate, it’s hard not to enjoy it all.”
Brad then began tucking into the incredible spread at the Red Bull bash. We do like a man with a healthy appetite and, while Angelina made do with strawberries and champagne, he scoffed mini burgers, deep fried mozzarella balls, potato wedges and mini pizzas – all washed down with Vodka Red Bulls and cans of Heineken. Burp!
Re-energised after his feast, Brad leapt up to request Kanye West’s Gold Digger. Then he and Liverpool skipper Stevie G began high-fiving and giving each other man-hugs.
And they weren’t the only ones indulging in public displays of affection. Quentin snogged a blonde from the States, who told us: “I know that motherf***er from way back.”
Everyone was having a great time at the no-expenses-spared do. The marquee on Baoli beach was decked out with cream leather sofas, a white grand piano and crystal chandeliers.
And, no, before you ask, we didn’t end the evening swinging from them.
