Vote for Brad Pitt at the People’s Choice Awards

November 13, 2009 by Sherry

For this year’s People’s Choice Awards, we have an opportunity to vote for Brad Pitt as Favorite Movie Actor.

Brad’s in good company; his competition is Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Robert Pattinson, and Ryan Reynolds. The biggest concern is probably Rob. I do like him and enjoyed Twilight but I don’t think he’s had a chance to show off his acting skills yet. Maybe when the four-movie series is over he’ll get to do that. Still, Twilight is a huge phenomenon and the young girls love Edward Cullen/Robert Pattinson. I have a feeling he’ll get a ton of votes.

That means, of course, that we need everyone here at PittWatch to go do their duty and vote! There doesn’t seem to be any IP tracking to keep people from voting more than once so you can go back as often as you want. Please go over here to vote for Brad Pitt as your Favorite Movie Actor!

Good luck Brad!

Don’t forget to vote for IB for favorite indie movie.

  2. Mary Ann (subscribed) says:

Hope Brad wins, but my grandkids all think RP is to die for. Personally I don’t see it.

  3. neela says:

i don’t want to say it, but the tweens might win this one, especially with the new twilight installment coming out soon.

but, of course, i vote brad :)

who are in the female category?

  4. Jah says:

(sigh) Millions and millions of teenagers are going to vote for Pattinson over and over. :/ Can’t really comment on him as an actor, I’ve never seen Twilight and probably never will. My vote will go to Brad obviously. (:

  5. Jah says:

Wow. They have a category titled “Favorite web celebrity”. lol

For the favorite woman, I chose Sandra Bullock. Angie was not listed. Also, you can choose Inglorious Basterds for fave independent film.. I believe that was the category.

  6. BlessBrangelina says:

    Her recent exes

  7. neela says:

jah, thanks for the info on the other categories. i like sandra bullock. she’s not a great actress, but she seems like a very cool person, and she’s funny in her movies.

  8. kimmy (subscribed) says:

oh my.. i’m torn between three handsome, sexy and best actors in Hollywood!.. oh well.. wwwaaaahhhh! I love Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt! oh my.. oh dear.. oh really..
but the movie actress was so easy for me.. it’s got to be Sandra Bullock! I just love her and she’s a very flexible actress, she can do romance, comedy and action.. i’ve voted for Miley too, IB for independent film although I like Paranormal Activity too, Adam Sandler, Harry Potter for On-screen team, Bride Wars for comedy movie although I also love He’s Just Not That Into You, and last my fave movie is of course Harry Potter! :)

  9. Barbara Jones (subscribed) says:

I love Brad and Angie and would love to see him win the People”s Choice Award with Angie by his side.

  10. joliepittfanatic (subscribed) says:

BlessBrangelina- I don’t understand your comment. Could you clarify, please.

Jah- I voted for Sandra in the Favortie Movie Actress category. To answer the question someone else asked about who else is in there…Well, Kirsten Stewart is. Also, Jennifer Aniston is. I can’t remember the other ones. Anyway, I hope that, if Brad wins the Favorite Movie Actor category, JA doesn’t win the Favorite Movie Actress category, and vice-versa. I mean, can you imagine the stories the tabs would come up with if that happened?

That said…I wonder if we’ll see Brad and Angie on the People’s Choice RC? They weren’t there last year (and I believe both were nominated, and at least one of them won something!), but that may have just been because it didn’t work with their schedules.

  11. elizabeth says:

I voted for BP and IB category. I hope Brad win but, knowing all the teenagers they will vote numerous times…Well, I will do the same. Hello to all. BTW too much issue on all the mag our favorite couple are on the mag left and right with all the bad rumors.

  12. Mer says:

I’ve voted for Brad many times and IB for favourite indie movie. Sad, that Christoph Waltz wasn’t nominated for Breakout actor, he deserves it, but I hope he’ll get Oscar:) I was suprised that Meryl Streep wasn’t nominated for the Best Actress. Well, I agree that teenagers are going to vote for Pattison. I’m a teenager too, but I’ve never seen Twilight and I don’t want to. I think Pattison looks awful:S

  13. Phoebe says:

i guess millions and millions of teenies will vote for Pattison. i have nothing against him but personally i don´t understand the Twilight hype. i don´t think he is attractive either – maybe i am too old…LOL

why isn´t Angie in the female category? was she in there last year? i don´t remember….
since we can vote several times i vote for Sandra and Jennifer in the female category….Sandra is gorgeous! i really love her.

  14. stratoula says:

I just don’t understand why so many young people like Robert Pattinson so much.I have seen Twilight and I’m 20 years old and I really don’t think he is so special.I mean ok,Twilight is a good movie but nothing more.
To me there is NO ONE LIKE BRAD!!!And of course I vote for him and IB and I’ll do it many times more!!!!
    Thanks for the info Sherry!!!

  15. Sherry says:

Stratoula – I am embarrassed to admit that I find Rob to be really attractive, but I find he’s moreso as Edward Cullen than when he’s out and about (mostly because Edward combs his hair and Rob… well, apparently Rob does not :) ).

But the category is for best actor and I think that Brad is miles ahead of Rob as far as that goes. Rob can get there too – after all, Brad started off as the pretty boy too, the hot cowboy with the great butt in Thelma & Louise.

Unfortunately, the teen fanbase will likely rocket Rob to the top, which is why we need to vote as much as we can for Brad!

  16. Sherry says:

Wow, lots of people voting for Sandra Bullock! I like her too but in the end I went with Drew Barrymore. I have always loved her and think she’s often highly underrated.

  17. Jah says:

Lol Phoebe. Nah, its not an age thing. I wouldn’t have found him attractive even if I was still a teen.. which wasn’t ages ago or anything.

Oh and did anyone enter before voting? For a chance to win a trip to the awards show? Can you imagine how great it would be to be able to go… and possibly even get an autograph from Angie and Brad? I read a story and saw some wonderful pictures from a member of another site who had the pleasure of meeting and receiving an autograph from Angie. :)

Sherry, I almost did pick Drew. To be honest though I probably wasn’t really fair with my choice. It was the previews for Sandra’s new movie The Blind Side, that made me choose her. Boy does that look like its going to be so good.

  18. Charlotte says:

I am a teen but I still voted for Brad, he beats Rob, like a million times over! I found this great link for some pics of Brad and Angie out with the girls, and Shiloh was wearing this cute UNHCR cap :)

  19. Sherry says:

Jah, I agree with you about The Blind Side, it looks like a very moving film, the kind where I’ll need some tissue because I’ll get, uh, “something in my eye”. (I’m a huge sap and cry easily at movies, TV shows, books, etc!)

I really want to see Drew’s recent film too, Whip It. The whole rollergirl thing is thrilling to me. It’s something I couldn’t do myself but it looks like it’s amazing adrenaline so I’m eager to see the movie!

I didn’t enter. I didn’t read the rules but I imagine it’s only open to U.S. residents and even if it’s open to Canadians my province is usually not included so I just voted.

  20. B&A FaNaTiC says:

Already voted! My choice is solid!! BRAD ALL THE WAY!!

  21. Faye88 says:

New pics of Brad & Angie. They attended MOCA’s (Museum of Contemporary Art) 30th Anniversary Gala in L.A. tonight. They look simply fabulous, especially Angie. She’s looks stunning. Just stunning. Here’s the link.

I was correcting the grammar in my previous post, but since that has been removed what’s left doesn’t make sense.

  23. Phoebe says:

    hey joliepittfanatic!:)
the person who deserves it should win, no more no less. screw the tabs! LOL
i agree with most of you though Sandra is reeally cool.

    hi Jah!:)
i always liked and like older men. they have something these young guys like Rob don´t have.

  24. Jah says:

Oh no. Sherry I am just as bad. I just watched The Notebook for the first time a couple of months ago, and that had me crying. I’m often the only one in the room who cries over these films.

It never occurred to me that it might be for the U.S. only. How unfair is that! :(

  25. joliepittfanatic (subscribed) says:

Oh, and if any of the kids look like Brad when they grow up, I think it will be Shiloh. :)

  26. joliepittfanatic (subscribed) says:

Oops! Disregard my above post, please! I posted it in the wrong thread accidentally!

  27. joliepittfanatic (subscribed) says:

    Phoebe- I agree! :)

  28. please take my name off.

  29. Barbara Trissel says:

I think Brad is by far the better actor. He really becomes his character, and moves our hearts with his out standing acting. I can not wait to see many, many more movies staring this gorgeous man. Never stop. OK?
